Q. What makes our tour different?

A. We are NOT your typical limo service.  We provide a certified wine expert who walks you through the history of the region and a tasting at each winery.  We have relationships with the owners of each winery which allows us to provide you with a special experience.  We also include curated wine flights that are hand selected by our team at each winery as well as a food pairing on every tour. In addition to our scheduled tours, you can book a private event for up to 12 people.

Q. Where do you pick up from?

A. Our tours pick up from 60 Lakeside Dr Bemus Point, NY, (what is soon to be Splash Wine Bar) across from The Fish.  We also pick up at The Chautauqua Institution Main Gate during the 9 week season.  If you are booking a private tour we can arrange to pick your group up at the location of your choice within Chautauqua County.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Locale Wine Tours reserves the right to cancel any trip if proper passenger count is not met (less than 4). We will cancel 24 hours in advance if the proper passenger count is not met. If we cancel your trip due to weather, mechanical issues, repairs, or low passenger count, a full refund will be given for your pre-purchased tickets. If you cancel or miss your departure time no refunds will be issued. In the simplest of terms if we cancel it's on us if you cancel it's on you.

Q. Do you ever cancel due to weather?

A. It is our goal to run every trip posted. We occasionally need to delay, postpone or cancel a trip due to weather. We try to rarely do this as we know it inconveniences our guests.  In general, we do not go out in heavy snow. Safety is a number one priority for us. PLEASE— ALWAYS, check our website and emails for cancellations to make sure there are no anticipated weather cancellations.

Q. What are you doing to mitigate the spread of COVID-19?

A. We fully disinfect the bus after every tour & screen each passenger for symptoms before coming on the tour.  All passengers have the option of wearing a mask and/or opening the windows for added air circulation.
